October – NKRTL Annual Dues Renewal Month – $20.00Children Are Harmed When Told They Can "Change" Their Sex

Another year has passed – and another 1.2 million surgical abortion kills – and we must again rededicate ourselves to the task of restoring respect and legal protection to all innocent human life in these United States – the major step toward which, of course, must be the reversal of the infamous decision of Roe v. Wade, on Jan. 22, 1973, which legalized this holocaust against the most innocent and defenseless members of the human family.

While we annually update our information and assess our position, admittedly one of our major purposes is the effort to make each and every person realize that the obligation is individual, and we must reach out to change the minds of those who do not share our views.  More importantly, we must elicit action from those who give lip service to the principles, but do nothing to advance them, and indeed contribute affirmatively to the opposition by supporting pro-abortion politicians, and/or criticizing the Pro-Life movement.

“If, in this last part of the twentieth century, the Christian community does not take a prolonged and vocal stand for the dignity of the individual and each person’s right to life – for the right of each individual to be treated as created in the image of God, rather than as a collection of molecules with no unique value – we feel that as Christians we have failed the greatest moral test to be put before us in this century.”  Dr. Francis Schaeffer, Protestant philosopher

“I am only one, but still I am one.  I cannot do everything, but I can do something; and because I cannot do everything, I will not refuse to do the something that I can do.”  Edward Everett Hale, American clergyman and writer

“I can’t do everything” is a common excuse we tell ourselves when we wish not to do anything.  Granted, no one can do everything, but there is so much for each of us to do.

First, meet your Christian obligation to educate yourself and to continue to receive and read NKRTL’s Newsletter.  Your renewal of membership will guarantee that you will not only continue receiving the Newsletter, but that there will be sufficient funds to continue publishing it.  The $20.00 annual dues brings you our Newsletter and funds all of our activities – but we need you, and you need us.

We not only need your financial support, but also your active participation.  Help us distribute pro-life literature and our Newsletter, attend our Celebration for Life, rally with us in Frankfort or in Washington, D.C., put a bumper sticker on your car, vote pro-life, write your elected officials, etc., etc.

Please be faithful in renewing your membership and extending it to others!

MERRY CHRISTMAS!
“God’s sign is simplicity. God’s sign is the baby. God’s sign is that He makes Himself small for us. This is how He reigns. He does not come with power and outward splendor. He comes as a baby – defenseless and in need of our help … He asks for our love: so He makes Himself a child.”
Pope Benedict XVI

Texas abortion law prevails, but society fails Kate Cox – Fred H. Summe

Kate Cox filed a lawsuit against the state of Texas, requesting a temporary block on the state’s abortion ban. Tragically, her about 20-week-old child had been diagnosed with Trisomy 18 (Edward’s Syndrome), a condition which causes delay in the development of the unborn baby, a severe disability that may cause death before birth, or within … the first few years of life.
